On 11 May 2017, Mr. Cui Liguo, Managing Partner of Guantao Law Firm, and Ben Tidswell, Global Chairman of UK-based international law firm Ashurst LLP, renewed alliance agreement in Sydney, marking the second renewal of the strategic alliance established between the two firms since 2008.
This renewal will see a stronger collaboration between the two firms, apart from solidifying the trust and commitment between the two firms built, and carrying on the positive results achieved, during the course of their strategic cooperation over the last eight years.
Ashurst is a prominent international law firm with a strong network of offices across Europe, Middle East, the US, Asia Pacific, Australia and other major international financial centers. This strategic alliance will enable the two firms to capitalize on each other’s unique strengths at both the international and domestic levels.
During this trip to Sydney, Mr. Sun Dongfeng (member of Managing Committee), Ms. Su Bo (member of Managing Committee), Mr. Ma Kewei (head of Sydney office), Mr. Zou Jun (head of Hangzhou office), Ms. Xu Ling (Executive Partner of Beijing office) and Mr. Chen Xiaochuang (partner who has been arranged to work in Sydney for a specified period) participated in the training of new promoted partners of Ashurst, taking a close observation of international firm's partnership system, reaping a fruitful harvest from both content and form. Ms. Xu Ling made a speech in the theme of "Two networks. One seamless service" and received warm response.
