On 20 April 2016, according to the new issued announcement of "The Supplement X to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement", China Securities Regulatory Commission approved the establishment of Huajing Securities, a joint venture securities company set up by China Renaissance Partners under the CEPAs. This announcement would further activate financial market and enhance coordinated development of Mainland China and Hong Kong.
China Renaissance is a leading independent investment bank mainly provided financial consulting services for China’s most promising "new economy" entrepreneurs which dedicated to create innovative models of Internet and information technology business. Huajing provided full-ranged services, which includes private fund-raisings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, sales and trading execution, with a particular specialization in TMT, education and healthcare as well as consumer products.
According to China Securities Regulatory Commission, there are many on-going applications of joint venture securities companies (with investments from Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan) under the CEPAs. Up till now, two joint venture securities companies (including this one) have been approved.
