Guantao ranked among the Top 15 in the 2024 Comprehensive Rankings of China’s Domestic IP Law Firms

On December 1, 2024‌, the 11th Power Nation Intellectual Property Forum‌ and 6th Power Nation Innovation & Technology Forum‌, along with their awards ceremony, were held in Beijing.  This year’s event centered on the theme ‌“Empowering High-Level Self-Reliance and Driving High-Quality Industrial Development.”‌  Distinguished guests delivering opening remarks included: ‌Zhang Qin‌, Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), former Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, Vice Chairman and Academic Advisory Committee Director of the China Intellectual Property Society; Shen Changxiang‌, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Member of the National Integrated Circuit Industry Development Advisory Committee, Advisor to the Cyberspace Administration of China’s Expert Advisory Committee, Member of the National Tri-Network Convergence Expert Group;  ‌Qu Sanqiang‌, Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Research Association of the China Law Society; ‌Hong Yongqing‌, Director of the Shanghai Office of the Foreign Ministry’s South-South Cooperation Promotion Committee, former Deputy Director of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration; ‌Liao Qiwei‌, Distinguished Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, International Dual Academician; and ‌Huang Xiangdong‌, Special Envoy of the King of Saudi Arabia.  The event also attracted ‌industry leaders, renowned judges, scholars, and corporate executives‌.  During the awards ceremony, ‌Guantao‌ was honored with a ‌Top 15 ranking in the Comprehensive List of China’s Domestic Intellectual Property Law Firms‌.

‌At the awards ceremony, Partner Li Hongjiang, Head of the Intellectual Property Practice Committee at Guantao, was honored with the "Top 10 Intellectual Property Lawyers of the Year" award.  Guantao partner Xia Tao received the "Top 10 Patent Lawyers of the Year" award, while Guantao partner Sun Jing was recognized as a "Top 10 Trademark Lawyer of the Year."
