Brief

Mr. Chow is the Senior Consultant of the Firm. He was admitted as a solicitor of England & Wales and Hong Kong in 1979 and 1980 respectively. On returning to Hong Kong in 1979, he joined the international law firm Baker & McKenzie and established his own practice in 1982.

Mr. Chow has more than 45 years of experience in corporate and commerce, merger and acquisition, cross border transactions, property, intellectual property, civil litigation and probate. He is also a China-Appointed Attesting Officer appointed by the Ministry of Justice, PRC.

He served on the Council of The Law Society of Hong Kong ('Law Society') between 1994 and 2004 and as its President between 1997 and 2000. He is still actively involved in Law Society's activities in the development of the Hong Kong legal profession in Mainland China. He was admitted on the list of Roll of Honour of Law Society in 2015. He was appointed as a member of the 10th to 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference

Mr. Chow serves on the board of several listed companies, including non-executive director of Kingmaker Footwear Holdings Limited and independent non-executive director of Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited, OneConnect Financial Technology Co., Ltd, Beijing North Star Company Limited and China Resources Beverage (Holdings) Company Limited

He was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1998 and awarded Silver Bauhinia Star in 2003 by HKSAR. He was admitted to Honorary Fellowship of the Hong Kong Institute of Education in 2010, Honorary Fellowship of King's College London of United Kingdom in 2013. He was admitted to Doctor of Social Sciences honoris causa of Hong Kong Metropolitan University in 2018 and Doctor of Laws honoris causa of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2021
