Mr. Li started his career in the field of intellectual property since he graduated from the Intellectual Property Law School of Peking University in 2007 and worked in the Patent Office under the State Intellectual Property Office, as the secretary of the director, where he mainly was responsible for patent search training and assessment of the quality of patent examination from 2007 to 2009. In July 2009, Mr. Li joined in UNITALEN ATTORNEYS AT LAW and has given many lectures in terms of IP infringement litigation, patent search, design around and patent excavation for Mitsubishi, San Francisco University, Great Wall Motor, SANY and Xugong, Sony and Germany Brady, etc.

Mr. Li has made significant achievements in many foreign-related patent infringement litigation cases, such as cases involving Jarden, Ashland, Tensar, Sun Same, BRP Canada, ISCAR, Lifetime and Megadyne. He also handled many cases in China for clients including DJI, China Bank, CRRC, Baiyunshan and Xinfa. In terms of non-contentious practice, Mr. Li has successfully dealt with many patent infringement analysis, contract review, investigations, patent strategy design and design around for OTIS Elevator, Segway Balance Car, Eurocams, Tensar, Konica Minolta, AFT, LiNing, etc.

Mr. Li is very active in the field of intellectual property. He has been interviewed more than 20 times by “Financial Times”, “Beijing Morning Newspaper”, “Electronic Intellectual Property Magazine”, “China IP Newspaper” and “Peking University Intellectual Property Weekly”, and he is also a good speaker on intellectual property topics in intellectual property conferences.
