Brief

Ms. Wei holds a master degree in law from Shenzhen University and a JD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The main practice areas of Ms. Wei are M&A and capital markets. She specializes in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, etc. Ms. Wei also provides legal services for companies to issue bonds and asset-backed securities. In the area of dispute resolution, Ms. Wei also has rich experience and excels in dealing with complicated corporate and commerce disputes related to company shares, banking and finance and cross-border trading. Before joining Guantao Law Firm, Ms. Wei was a partner of the Shanghai headquarter of All Bright Law Offices. Ms. Wei is a member of Shanghai Youth Entrepreneurs Association, and the Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Small and Medium Enterprise Risk Management. Ms. Wei’s working language is both Chinese and English.

• Lead counsel for the acquisition of a 450-million-yuan real estate asset in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone

• Legal counsel for the issuing of 740-million-yuan asset-backed securities by a city investment company

• The acquisition of a Shanghai based well-known education training company by a public company and the total amount of this major asset reorganization transaction was 1.3 billion yuan, paid with stocks and cash.

• Legal counsel for the acquisition of a game company by a listed company and the total amount of this transaction was 750 million yuan, paid with all cash.

• Legal counsel for a number of acquisitions of NEEQ listed companies acquired by the listed companies.

• Lead counsel for representing a number of complicated corporate and commerce disputes such as equity repurchase disputes, partnership disputes and shareholder disputes.
