Mr. Jiang Zexie (Dante) is a partner Guantao Law Firm Shanghai Office. Dante has extensive experience in China-related cross border M&A, private equity, foreign direct investment transactions and carbon neutrality. Dante has been involved in a number of M&A transactions, pre-IPO investment and establishment of domestic or offshore joint ventures for leading domestic and international institutions, covering a wide range of sectors including TMT, new energy, automotive, finance, real estate, health care, industrial manufacturing and retailing.
Dante’s relevant experiences include advising: Hite’s (002184) acquisition of JV’s equity interests from Belden (BDC); Wanyang Group’s subscription of Gudi(002694)’s new issuance of shares and become the controlling shareholder; Pintech’s (PT) subscription of ZiiTech PTY Ltd’s new issuance of shares; a major Chinese telecommunication service provider in relation to its various potential investment in Pakistan and to A-share listed companies; HELLA on establishment of various joint ventures in the PRC and business cooperation with its partners (including ADAS and new energy); a leading British petroleum company in its sale of global petro-chemical business; a leading global food & beverage company in acquisition an online snack brand from an A-share listed company; China Merchants on strategic investment in the restructuring of ports in Liaoning Province.
Dante is the deputy chair of Hong Kong District’s Special Committee for Foreign Related Lawyers, member of Guantao International Investment Committee and member of Guantao Carbon Neutrality and Environmental Policy Research Center. Before joining Guantao, Dante also worked at leading domestic and international law firms for several years. Dante graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law and London School of Economics and Political Science. Dante is qualified in the PRC, and fluent in Chinese and English.
