观韬动态│徐玲律师入选2022北京冬奥会公益法律服务团
2022年北京冬奥会进入倒计时，近日，在北京市司法局的支持下，北京市律师协会与北京仲裁委员会/北京国际仲裁中心共同组建了冬奥会公益法律服务团。观韬中茂律师事务所国际业务合伙人徐玲律师入选该服务团，将发挥律师专业优势，积极助力冬奥盛会顺利举办。（详细信息可以点击该三个机构的名称链接查阅。）
此次冬奥会公益法律服务团由23名熟悉涉外体育仲裁和争议解决、英语能力较强的专业律师组成。服务对象是参加2022年北京冬奥会且需要公益法律服务的各国各地区的运动员等。服务内容包括：（一）提供法律咨询；（二）体育争议解决代理服务，即根据当事人委托，代表当事人提起或应对国际体育仲裁院（CAS）启动的相应程序；（三）其他法律服务。
该服务团具体工作由北京市律师协会和北京仲裁委员会统筹，包括设立公共服务邮箱（probono2022bj@beijinglawyers.org.cn），统一接受咨询、案件委托等。
1月18日，国际体育仲裁院官方网站的最新消息公布了北京冬奥会公益法律服务团的相关情况和联系方式，同时还公布了北京冬奥会临时仲裁庭的9名组成人员。

Xu Ling selected as Olympic Winter BJ 2022 Pro Bono legal team
As the countdown to the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 (the “Games”) starts, Beijing Bar Association and Beijing Arbitration Commission / Beijing International Arbitration Center have recently, with the support of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice, jointly organized a team of lawyers who will provide pro bono advice and representation to athletes who need legal advice in relation to a dispute arising from the Games. Xu Ling, Partner of Beijing Guantao Law Firm, has been selected to join the Pro Bono lawyers’ team. The Pro Bono lawyer’s team consists of 23 PRC lawyers who are familiar with foreign-related sports arbitration and other dispute resolution and have a good command of English. The services include: (i) provision of legal advice; (ii) representation services in sports dispute resolution, i.e. representing parties in initiating or responding to legal proceedings initiated by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), as instructed by the parties; and (iii) other legal services.

The Pro Bono lawyers' team will work under the unified leadership of Beijing Bar Association and Beijing Arbitration Commission, including a single contact address (probono2022bj@beijinglawyers.org.cn), unified acceptance of legal advice and case representation.
On 18 January 2022, CAS published on its official website the formation of the Pro Bono lawyer’s team for the Games and its contact address. At the meantime, CAS also announced to open CAS Ad Hoc Division composed of 9 arbitrators to resolve any legal disputes submitted to it during the Games.

Xu Ling is a senior partner of Guantao Beijing head office. During her 20 years of practice, she has been specialised in international investment and foreign-related/international arbitration. She has represented many domestic and foreign clients before CIETAC, BAC, LCA and other arbitration commission, among which her representation of a HK-based German company in parallel arbitration both before CIETAC and LCA (both proceedings are conducted in English) for a dispute over international trade contracts against a Lithuania-based company was awarded as the “Deals of the Year 2017” by the China Business Law Journal. Ms. Xu is selected as one of the 1,000 PRC lawyers practicing foreign-related business law by the PRC Ministry of Justice, and a member in the “Leading Talents” panel of the PRC lawyers practicing foreign-related business law by the All China Lawyers Association. She was honored as 2019 ALB China “Client Choice”. China Business Law Journal awarded Xu Ling as “A-List: China’s Top 100 Lawyers” both in 2017 and 2018.
